Noah Shorr, CFPA®

Financial Advisor

No matter how many times he hikes up Mt. Yonah, Blood Mountain, or any another peak in the southern Appalachians, Noah gets the same sense of fulfillment and awe every time he looks out from the summit. From those peaks, he sees the vastness and wonder in creation – all part of a perfect plan and the fine balance of nature.

Those treks into the woods help Noah to achieve a multitude of goals, including exercise, fresh air, quality time with his wife, Sarah, as well as inspiration and contentment. And as someone who continues to grow in all aspects of his life and career, he sees immense value in the ability to pause and enjoy the moment.

Motivated and involved, Noah has spent much of his life on the go – whether it was managing a landscaping crew in his teens or graduating from the University of North Georgia two years early. That unwavering determination combined with a love of numbers and extrovert personality made financial planning the ideal career path for him. Yet it was passion for assisting others that made him a perfect fit for SGL. Here, he works to create that perfect balance and produce a plan that helps his clients to achieve their goals – and enjoy their own moments, wherever they may find them.

Always learning, Noah has advanced quickly while at SGL, earning his Series 7 registration with LPL Financial and his Series 66 registration with IFG Advisory, LLC, in addition to Life, Health, and Variable insurance licenses. He also has his Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor designation from The American Retirement Association and is currently studying for his Certified Financial Planner designation from the national CFP board.

When he’s not hiking or assisting clients, Noah, a north Georgia native, is likely busy with community projects or teeing off on the golf course. A member of the 2024 Leadership Hall class, Noah is also an integral member of the Gainesville Jaycees. And he looks forward to years of helping improve the community in which he grew up and lives.
