Cindy Wilson

Client Relationship Manager

Despite growing up in a golfing family, Cindy Wilson never saw herself as a future golfer.

That all changed when she married, and her husband bought her a set of clubs and coaxed her onto the course.

Decades later, Cindy cannot imagine a life without golf. But it’s not what you may think. Sure, she loves to play and feel the satisfaction of the perfect drive or putt. But it’s more about the time she spends with friends, family, or even new acquaintances on the course that makes the difference for her.

Relationships and interaction are the essence of everything for Cindy. It’s why she came to north Georgia in the first place, why she excelled in the banking business for almost 30 years, and why she joined – and loves – her work with SGL.

In her role, Cindy provides an attentive and energetic touch to all client needs. That supportive and understanding approach helps make the entire SGL office go, while tending to a wide array of duties. She thrives on being involved, finding a role within a community, and doing what she can to improve that community.

It’s what led Cindy to serve on countless non-profit boards, such as president of the American Heart Association and Gainesville Kiwanis Club. It even led her to work for nonprofit organizations as Director of Development and Finance, most recently for the Children’s Center for Hope and Healing.

And when she’s not “being involved,” she may be at home enjoying some down time with her two “kitties.” More often than not, however, you can bet that Cindy is enjoying a chat with friends – quite likely on the golf course. Her favorite is the Thistle Club in Calabash, North Carolina. Cindy was blessed to have had a wonderful husband Vince, for 31 years.
