Anna Thompson

Most people’s phones are crammed with photos and videos – but do you have 40,000 pics on your phone? Anna does, and yet that’s just the tip of the iceberg. That’s because Anna does more than just snap selfies and group photos, she’s more like a photography professional. In fact, what started as something fun and inspirational has really become more of a second job. Don’t get her wrong, she absolutely loves her work at SGL and will not be turning to the camera full time, but when she gets the chance to get behind the lens, Anna truly finds her muse.

Anna has always enjoyed capturing life’s moments for posterity, but that enjoyment reached another level when she had her own kids. And after noticing her knack for creating the perfect shot – a photo that truly captures a moment, nothing posed or fake – friends and family began to ask her to do the same for them. Now, that inspiration is part of a four-year professional legacy. And she still loves to get great pics of her own daughters, Denver and Sawyer Grace, who also keep her busy in just trying to keep up with their love of being outside and always into something.

Busy is the way Anna likes it though. And it makes sense when you understand that she spent much of her youth driving to or playing in travel soccer teams (alongside her sister). Beyond playing, she loved the team atmosphere of the sport. And that’s exactly what the Gainesville native (a Chestatee High graduate) found when she joined SGL.

As a Client Associate, Anna loves working with the team that she joined in August 2025, as well as getting to know what might be called the extended team – the clients of SGL. Her energetic approach has proven infectious, and she also loves being one of the younger members of the office, where she’s trying hard to keep everyone in touch with the latest trends. Whatever she’s doing, you can be certain that Anna will be doing it full steam and maybe creating a perfect picture in the process.
